Lisa
Greasy Cheetah LLC was built by three women who are equal parts grit, chaos, humor, heart, and wild ideas: Lisa, Kate, and Ona. Somehow, against all odds, we balance each other perfectly.
Lisa is our curious cheetah. If you tell Lisa something exists, she’ll probably say, “I can make that,” and then disappear into the garage, garden, or barn until she does. Raised on hard work and fueled by creativity, Lisa is the heart behind our products. She started crafting tallow-based skincare in her farm kitchen using tallow from her cow. She loves gardening, crafting, creating, and can run a chainsaw better than most grown men. Equal parts warm, innovative, and feral woodland woman, Lisa is proof that softness and toughness can absolutely coexist.
Kate
Kate is our wild cheetah. Raised between the Adirondacks, Haiti, and wherever else her wild and free soul decided to wander, Kate grew up embracing adventure, grit, and authenticity. She’s hardworking, fearless, hilarious, and the kind of woman who can train a horse, ride a motorcycle, build a brand, and still show up looking effortlessly beautiful.
Kate says what she means, stands firmly in who she is, and inspires everyone around her to do the same. Her energy is contagious, her humor is honest and hilarious, and her confidence reminds people that being unapologetically yourself is a superpower.
Ona
Ona is our smart cheetah. Raised in a tiny one-room maple sugar shack deep in the Adirondack woods with no running water, by a wild hippie father and an eccentric herbalist mother, Ona learned resilience, adaptability, and a healthy dose of sarcastic wit from an early age. With over 17 years in education, she brings strategy, organization, compassion, and heart to Greasy Cheetah—while also keeping Kate from launching a podcast on Mars and Lisa from disappearing into the woods to become a full-time mountain hermit.
Covered in colorful tattoos and equally comfortable in heels or mucking out a barn stall, Ona is girly, tough, creative, and never afraid to get her hands dirty. She loves catching largemouth bass, laughing too hard, finding beauty in life's messy moments, and making people feel genuinely seen, valued, and supported.
Together, we are Adirondack hippie country cowgirl and Haitian wild. Our families span the gamut of skin color from blan to nwe. We are wives, mothers, daughters, best friends, creators, entrepreneurs, animal lovers, and women who know life is messy, beautiful, hard, hilarious, and worth showing up for authentically. We are here to help others glow wild — confidently, naturally, and unapologetically.

Why Tallow
All of our products are tallow-based using 100% USA grass-fed beef tallow with no chemical processing.
Tallow is superior to plant oils for skincare because its fatty acid profile closely mimics human sebum, allowing for deeper penetration and better biocompatibility.

The Story Behind Our Wild Name
Kate’s firstborn son, Azariah, loved when bath time was finished and he could get all “lotioned up” with our homemade tallow. Then, he’d tear through the house roaring, laughing, and proudly declaring himself:
“The Greasy Cheetah!”
What started as a hilarious family nickname for him quickly became something much bigger.
Long before there was a business, Lisa and Kate had already been creating handmade skincare products. Frustrated with products loaded with chemicals, fake promises, and ingredients nobody could pronounce, they started making simple, natural alternatives in Lisa’s kitchen using tallow sourced from their own farm. Friends and family began asking for jars of their own.
Against all advice, we decided to name our company “Greasy Cheetah,” after our first little fan, Azariah.
The cheetah itself represents everything Greasy Cheetah stands for: authenticity, resilience, instinct, grace, independence, and power. Across cultures, the cheetah symbolizes strategic strength, emotional depth, fierce self-reliance, and the balance between action and rest. It moves with purpose. It trusts its instincts. It doesn’t waste energy trying to be something it’s not.
Neither do we.
